This is it.
As of next week, I will no longer be doing QA for our call center. I will have the pleasure of working with a wonderful group of CSRs, and will have the title of supervisor.
The past 5 1/2 years have been a wild ride. I have heard and seen more than any one person deserves to experience. Most of it has made me laugh: some has made me cry: and others have just left me shaking my head in disbelief. And I can say I've enjoyed every second of it.
I have to thank Tom Vander Well of Service Quality Central for being an inspiration and a guide for these many years. He has a heart and a passion for customer service that is unparalleled in this industry, and I am fortunate to call him a good friend.
I also have to thank my husband of 13 years. He has put up with me talking about work and QA for a long time. He has endured my studies and my stories and usually asks after a particularly funny story, "You blogging that?" He has been my rock, my love and my life. I love you, darling.
I am not giving up the blog, because there will still be funny stories and QA moments to share. It won't be my job title anymore, but it will still have an important place in my new job. God bless all of you, and thanks for reading. :)
Speaking of which, I just heard one of our sales reps sprayed her dog with carpet cleaner: she picked up the wrong bottle. She was reaching for the flea spray. At least her pup smells good?

Congrats! I'm so glad you're keeping the blog. As a fellow QA'er, your posts have given me a good laugh - I'm glad it's not just me sometimes!
