Well, Pizza Hut has just made it on my "never again" list.

This was the second chance: I rarely give third chances. The first time we ordered from them, they brought the food and forgot our drinks. This was after they gave us a 30 minute delivery window and we had waited an hour and 15 minutes. The driver did go back and get our drinks, which is why I gave them a second chance. Then we ended up driving to the location the next morning because the driver left his pizza delivery bag on our front porch.

Tonight we decided at the last minute to order pizza. I had received an email coupon for $5 off a $15 order if the order was placed online, so we decided to try. I placed the order, got all the information on there, and hit Submit. I waited... and waited... 5 minutes went by and there was no sign that the order had sent: it was still processing and sending. So we decided to forget about the whole thing.

We called the main number. Around here, there's one call center main number that you call to place orders, and they send the information on to the appropriate store. We were hung up on twice in a row. Not good. So we found the number to our store and called them.

They seemed okay, but they promised us that the amount of money would not be taken off our card. Right. It was. We have attempted to call that store back and have not been able to get through. I sincerely hope that they really cancelled the order, because we're making cheeseburger mac.

Oh, and I have unsubscribed to their email list. They give no options of sharing why you're unsubscribing: this is one time I would have said exactly how I felt.

QA Word of the Day!

(drumroll)

Unguent.

(cymbal crash)

Actually, this is a real word for once.  Someone faxed in a request for their order history, and used the abbreviation UNG.  My great-grandma used unguent (or salve, interchangeably) but I haven't heard the term in years.
