Another month in the record books! Yesterday had a funny start.

CSR: "Thank you for calling our place. My name is Joe Schmaltz. May I have your pin and pager number, please?"

Great opening, right? Weeeeellll, there are a couple of small problems with it.

#1: Thankfully, our company does not require us to use our last name in the opening. If we have to give any kind of identifier, it is our extension. But that's not the big problem.

#2: We have nothing to do with pagers.

Sometimes, I would recommend that extra cup of coffee before answering a telephone. Also, being familiar with where you are currently working helps, too.

From tonight's QA session:

Sales rep: "I placed a couple of orders today..."

CSR: "YAAAAAY!"

Well, can't fault her enthusiasm... :)

I am so freaking embarrassed.

I have not posted for a very long time. And you know why? Because I can't seem to get this blogroll thing down. I want to thank the people that have logged in here and left comments, and especially Anonymous Cog for unknowingly inspiring me to get started.

However, this will be corrected by the end of the day. And I will get back to blogging, and I will list all blogs whose bloggers have stopped by. And I have more stories... :)
